In a press release sent out by Phonxay Keokham, San Joaquin Treasurer-Tax Collector, reminds property owners that the second installment of the 2020-2021 annual secured property taxes was due and payable on February 1, 2021, and becomes delinquent after Monday, April 12, 2021. If taxes are not paid by April 12, 2021, at 5:00 p.m., a 10% penalty and $10.00 cost will be added.
To stay safe and save time, the Treasurer-Tax Collector recommends payment of property taxes online, by phone, or by mail. To make a payment online or view payment status, please go to sjcttc.org. For your convenience, e-check (electronic check) payments are accepted free of charge. To pay by phone, please call (866) 954-1829. Payments by check or money order may be mailed to SJC TTC, P.O Box 2169, Stockton, CA 95201-2169. Payments sent by mail with a USPS postmark of April 12, 2021, or earlier will be accepted as timely. We also encourage cash to be exchanged for a check or money order and mailed to our office.
Payments can also be made at the San Joaquin County Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office located at 44 North San Joaquin Street, Suite 150, Stockton, CA, 95202 (entrance is on the Weber Avenue side of the building). The Office is open to the public with safety precautions between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The Office will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021.
