American Legion Takes Delivery of Vets Transport Van

American Legion Post 190 During the Ribbon Cutting.

American Legion Post 190 cut the ceremonial ribbon of their new transport van that

arrived at the downtown Ripon post last week. Legions staffers from Sacramento were

at the 11 a.m. ceremonies. Legion Service officer Ken Lawson will be driving a local vet to

a Veterans clinic for services in the next few weeks. The van will also be used to take

Ripon vets to area ball games of their choice. The van came through a $75,000 grant. A wheelchair lift can be seen at the rear doors.
