Mary Ann, peacefully passed from this life on December 15 after a sudden decline in health. Her loving family surrounded her. She was 84 years old. Mary Ann was born at San Joaquin Hospital in French Camp, CA. Mary Ann met the love of her life, Jim (Earl) Green at Ripon High School and they were married February 12, 1955 and shared 63 years together as her beloved husband passed away in 2018.
Mary Ann’s surviving children are Shellie and Richard Vasquez of Modesto, CA, Greg and Sally Green of Cresent City, CA, Neil and Annett Green of Ripon, CA, and Janell and Kenny Zuidervaart of Ripon, CA. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and spouses: Mike Green and Kadee, Bobby Green and Delia, Cindy Sypolt and Aaron, Melissa Green, Kristen Lauerman and Dan, Travis Zuidervaart and Brooke, Dillon Zuidervaart, and Preston Zuidervaart. and 9 great grandchildren and 1 more on the way.
Mary Ann attended River School and Graduated Ripon High School in 1954. She was a wonderful housewife, mother and friend to many. She loved the years she spent as a 1st grade teachers’ aide to Sue Brock and Ted Schutt at Ripona School, and as a volunteer childcare provider for Ripon Christian School Circle. She could also be seen handing out candy on Halloween at Ripon Historical Museum dressed up as Mini Mouse. Mary Ann loved her family and children!
Mary Ann was a lifelong member of Parkwood Seventh-Day Adventist church in Modesto, CA.
