New Management Takes Swing at Revamping Jack Tone Golf Course

Sierra Golf Management has stepped in as the new operator of Ripon's Jack Tone Golf Course, signing a long-term lease with the city that kicked off on January 1, 2025.

The change in management comes with big plans for the local golf destination. Over the next few months, golfers can expect to see crews busy with a series of major upgrades throughout the facility. The parking areas around the clubhouse and driving range will get fresh asphalt, while workers tackle a complete clubhouse renovation. The irrigation system is also slated for an overhaul, ensuring better course conditions year-round.

But the improvements don't stop there. A brand new fleet of golf carts will soon roll onto the course, and the driving range and practice facility will undergo significant enhancements to better serve both casual players and serious golfers working on their game.
