Phonxay Keokham, San Joaquin County Treasurer-Tax Collector, hereby announces that regular secured tax bills have been mailed to all property owners at the addresses shown on the tax roll. If you own property in San Joaquin County and do not receive a tax bill by November 10, 2021, you may obtain a copy of the tax bill online at sjcttc.org. You may also contact the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office at 44 N. San Joaquin Street, Suite 150, Stockton, CA 95202 or
call (209) 468-2133.
Failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve the taxpayer of the responsibility to make timely payments.
The first installment is due and payable on November 1, 2021, and will become delinquent if not paid by 5:00 p.m., or the close of business, whichever is later, on December 10, 2021; thereafter a 10% penalty will be added.
The second installment is due on February 1, 2022, and will become delinquent if not paid by 5:00 p.m., or the close of business, whichever is later, on April 11, 2022; thereafter a 10% penalty will be added plus the cost to prepare the delinquent tax records and to give notice of delinquency.
Both installments may be paid when the first installment is due.
Due to COVID-19, property owners are recommended to make payments online or by phone. Cash payments may be exchanged for check or money order and mailed to the office. Payments may be made online at sjcttc.org or by calling (866) 954-1829. A convenience fee will be charged by the company supporting these services when paying with a credit card or debit card. For your convenience, e-check (electronic check) payments are accepted free of charge.
Payments may be mailed to SJC TTC, P.O. Box 2169, Stockton, CA 95201-2169. Mailed payments must be USPS postmarked by the delinquent date to avoid late penalties. Payments also may be made in person at the San Joaquin County Treasurer-Tax Collector's Office located at 44 N. San Joaquin Street, Suite 150, Stockton, CA 95202, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on holidays. The office will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on December 10, 2021, and April 11, 2022.
