Modesto, CA – Meagan and Nicole Warwick (twin sisters) of Modesto Christian School will be signing a Letter of Intent with Azusa Pacific University
and joining APU’s Track and Field Team for 2017-2018.
Modesto Christian School will be hosting this event on Thursday, May 4 at 12:20pm in the Gymnasium of the High School Campus at 5755 Sisk Road, Modesto, CA 95356. We welcome family and friends to be a part of this momentous occasion. Light refreshments served.
Modesto Christian has produced some of the top local athletes over the past number of years, including recent graduate Christian Ellis, currently at Southeastern Illinois University. Nicole and Meagan enter this tradition, not only as outstanding athletes, but also as outstanding scholars. In addition to receiving co-MVP for the Modesto Metro Conference in Basketball, and co-MVP for the Modesto Bee All-District Girls Basketball Team, Meagan received the Modesto Christian Female Top Scholar Athlete Award, and Nicole received the Trans-Valley League Dale Lackey Female Scholar Athlete Award. Both girls are also co-valedictorians of their class. MCS Superintendent, Dr. Jonathan Burton, says this about Meagan and Nicole: “These two girls represent the best female athletes who have come through Modesto Christian in years, but their academic abilities and outstanding character are even more impressive. They have hearts for service, and a passion for excellence. They are a blessing in every way!”
