Ripon Police Dispatch Supervisor Retires After 20 Plus Years

Ripon Police Department announced that Dispatch Supervisor, Celeste Wilson, served her last day with the department on Friday, May 28, 2021.


Celeste began her career with the Ripon Police Department in October of 2000 as a dispatcher. Throughout her years with the department, she held many positions such as Community Service Officer, Evidence Technician, Property Clerk, and Lead Dispatcher. In 2018, she promoted to Dispatch Supervisor and served in that role until her retirement.


According to the department's social media post, Celeste is known for her commitment, hard work ethic, and career of integrity. She will be greatly missed.


Her position has been assigned to Christina Caro, who will oversee the dispatch center and records department, according to the department.
