Staley Receives Prestigious Award

American Legion Law Enforcement Officer Of The Year Sergeant Paul Staley received this prestigious award from the American Legion for his work in our community both on and off duty. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, there was not an award ceremony dinner this year, but we would like to take a moment to honor and recognize Sgt. Staley.

As our agency's newest patrol supervisor Sgt. Staley has been a tremendous asset having a positive impact on our daily operations through his leadership and dedication to our department and community.

The American Legion POST 190 of Ripon, Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award is presented to a well-rounded law enforcement officer who has exceeded the duty requirements expected of his or her position and has demonstrated a distinct pattern of community service coupled with professional achievement.
